Bea Gonzalez to miss BNL Italy Major Premier Padel due to injury

Bea Gonzalez will miss the Italy Major Premier Padel due to injury. The Malaga-born player has been suffering from a thrombus in her left foot since Monday, as she explained on her Instagram account.

"It's been a tough few days, since Monday I have a pain and a very strong swelling in my left foot. After having several tests I have been diagnosed with a thrombus in my foot. Luckily it is superficial. However, I have to treat it carefully as it could get worse. This means I have to be out of competition for a few days, so I will miss the Major in Rome. It hurts my soul, such a special tournament, so important and so much to look forward to. I'm sad, I'm not going to deny it, but these things happen and health is above all else. Now it's time to get back on my feet, recover well and come back strong. I assure you that when I come back I'll be different, I'm going to eat the world, always". 

The player from Malaga and Delfi Brea this season have managed to win four of the nine Premier Padel tournaments that have been held to date: Asuncion Premier Padel P2, Sevilla Premier Padel P2, Lotto Brussels Premier Padel P2 and Puerto Cabello Premier Padel P2.
