Here's the complete entry list for the men's tournament at the BNL Italy Major Premier Padel at the Foro Italico in Rome
27 giugno 2023
There was a whole world around, waiting for the news. The world of Alejandro Galan and Juan Lebron‘s fans, a real “people” who assiduously follow the two world padel stars. And now, the news is here: Galan and Lebron’s ‘reunion’ will be officially staged with the Premier Padel at the Foro Italico, in Rome, from July 10 to 16.
The two, who have thus become a couple again after a series of troubles linked to Lebron’s physical problems, signed up for the Roman tournament early this afternoon and promise to put on a show, after their triumph in the first edition of the Roman Major in May 2022.
After retiring in the second round of the Danish Open on 18 May due to Juan Lebron’s arm injury – in the meantime Ale Galan had continued his season paired with Jon Sanz playing in Marbella, Tolosa and Valladolid – and five weeks after their last match together, ‘Ale y Juan’ will be back on court at the Foro Italico for a much-anticipated Italian leg of Premier Padel. And, needless to say, it will be a great show.
Behind the title-holders, Franco Stupaczuk and Martin Di Nenno are the second-ranked team in the entry list for the men's tournament at the BNL Italy Major Premier Padel.
The Argentines won the first event of the circuit, the official global padel tour and the only one governed by the International Padel Federation (FIP) and backed by the Professional Padel Association (PPA). At the Ooredoo Qatar Major Premier Padel last February, they beat Fernando Belasteguin and Carlos Daniel Gutierrez in a hard-fought final at the iconic Khalifa Tennis and Squash Complex.
